Solar Electric - Inverters

Solar Panels produce DC (direct current) electricity which needs to be "inverted" in order to be connected to your home or business which uses AC (alternating current) electricity.

Inverters perform this task as well as regulating the flow of power from the panels, in to your home or business and making it match the electricity used in the structure. Other inverters called "Islanding Inverters" perform additional tasks such as charging and monitoring battery storage and to automatically switch to battery power at night or during power outages on the utility grid. Optional features include: data communications for monitoring performance from a personal computer and/or the Internet. If you need a larger sized inverter than what is featured please contact us with your needs.
